Strengthening the United States Munitions Industrial Base
DetTX is proud to join the MSM North America-led team designing, building, and commissioning a new 155mm Artillery Load, Assemble, and Pack (LAP) facility at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. This state-of-the-art facility will deliver critical production capacity to meet current and future defense needs. As the project’s principal engineering firm, DetTX will lead process design and optimization for the 155mm melt-pour operation, bringing over four decades of experience in energetic materials facility design, construction, and operation. Our focus is on delivering a safe, efficient, and future ready production line that meets the U.S. Government’s long-term performance, safety, and lifecycle goals. This is more than a construction project. It is an investment in readiness, resilience, and the capabilities that support those who serve. Our founder built energetic plants from the ground up and led teams across continents, developing rocket propellants, explosives, and munitions for global defense organizations.
